What We Offer

Mat Classes

Mat classes take place in small groups of 8 people providing individual attention to develop good form. Pilates Mat offers series of dynamic exercises focusing on breath, flexibility and the use of our “power house" muscles to stabilize and lengthen the body.

Exercises are inspired by the principles of breath, concentration, centering, precision and flow with emphasis on technique and mobility of the spine along with recruitment of the deep postural muscles.

From Pilates Flow, Classical Mat and Power Pilates to ELDOA & Myofascial Stretching, we have a class for everyone.

Reformer/Machine Semi-Privates

The Pilates Apparatus used today are based on Joseph Pilates' original inventions and designs from the 1920's. They are unique and versatile machines which we use to maximize core muscle engagement through the use of springs, pedals, pulleys, straps and bars. With hundreds of possible exercises, load is applied eccentrically and concentrically as specific muscle groups are targeted.

Training in small groups of 3 people we work on the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Tower and props. A fun and focused class moving through the Pilates repertoire on the equipment in rotation. We add load to get strong and bend to stay supple. You will leave feeling a total mind-body connection.

Pilates experience on the apparatus or instructor permission is required.

ELDOA™ & Myofascial Stretching

Developed by renowned Osteopath Guy Voyer DO, the primary goal of the ELDOA™ method is to increase space by decompressing joints through a specific postural exercise.

There is an ELDOA for every joint of the spine as well as joints of the shoulder complex, hips and pelvis. As the ELDOA “create” space, there is an improvement in joint mechanics, increased blood flow, reduced pressure on the discs, a reduction of pain, spinal disc rehydration, improved posture, and a sense of well being and awareness.

These specific postures are a new type of stretching experience. Paired with pilates, or Voyer's method of Myofascial Stretching, this is a rehabilitative class well-suited for both for those with back pain or contraindications or for those wishing to find more mobility and joint health.

Pre-/Postnatal

Our bodies go through enormous changes to support the creation of a new person! Pre- and Postnatal Pilates give special care to the issues common to pregnancy and recovery postpartum.

In Prenatal we focus on recognising the hormonal, postural and structural changes while developing breath control, balance, body awareness and connection to the back and pelvic stabilisers.

Postnatal Pilates focuses on safe and effective exercises to encourage the natural regeneration of the body and gently activate muscles while remaining sensitive to issues surrounding c-section and diastasis recti in an encouraging environment.
